FIRST THINGS FIRST – if you are having any sort of problem with your pedometer please RESET to the factory default settings as this will correct most errors.
After wearing your pedometer for a few days you probably won’t even notice the noise anymore.
It is essential that your pedometer remain upright, refer to our section on wearing your pedometer correctly.
Also make sure that you have entered the correct stride length, refer to our section on calculating your stride.
Please do the twenty step test, this quick test will ensure that your pedometer is optimally positioned on your body for the most accurate readings.
To improve its accuracy your pedometer has a built in filter function that screens out walks of under six steps read more about the 6 step filter.
If your pedometer screen is fading out it means that the battery needs to be replaced.

We offer a back-up service for your pedometers – right here in South Africa so if you have broken you clip or the casing, you can send your pedometer in for repairs, please contact us to arrange this.
However if it has been dropped or it got wet then the electronics are probably damaged and these unfortunately cannot be repaired.
Please note there are no serviceable parts in your pedometer, please do not open the back except to change batteries
